About the Pen.

Okay, so it's a hypothetical pen, but what's the big deal?!

My name is Sarah and I am a blogger. Well, I'm pretending to be a blogger, shhh... don't spill my secret.

WHO AM I?
I am a laugher, a hugger, a crier, and an all around emotional twenty-something living in the great state of Oregon. I was stranded in the Pacific Northwest when my family decided to take an opportunity to start anew out in the midwest. After I was ditched, I learned quickly the feeling of supported independence, also known as having a great cheer leading squad that lived more than 2,500 miles of US soil away.

After graduating college, I packed up my stuff to move on to yet another independent adventure only to find that my dream career didn't quite click, and I was lost without a road map. Through the craziest time of my life, and I don't mean the college benders or high school drama fights, I have found an outlet (psst... you're reading it!) that lets me connect with my friends, my family and my generation... which leads us here...

WHY SHOULD YOU READ MY BLOG?
Let's be honest. This blog started off as a time-filler. I was bored throughout the day and didn't get to interact with people my own age for the majority of my time at work, so the idea came to fruition: start a blog that positively looks at the issues of everyday life for someone ranging between the ages of 17-27. We are one of the most influential demographics on the planet, maneuvering through one of the hardest times to be a human... with the exception of cavemen without fires and stuff.

So here's why you should read my blog.

I want to find our common denominator.

I want to relate to you in what you are going through, and I want to do so with hope and support. You got fired? I want to support you. You're unexpectedly pregnant? I want you to see hope. You lost a family member? I want to love you through it... even if you've never met me.

This blog is a place for people of the millenials to find out that we're all in this together with the X & Y Generations. (Cue that terrible High School Musical song.)

And if you're not in those generations?! This is a place for you to see what kinds of things we are going through. It's a place for new perspective on our similar surroundings.  It's a place for you to be the support of your coworkers, your kids, your friends, your nieces and nephews.

It's a place to realize that there is NO END IN SIGHT, and we like it that way...
